Service Agreement

This Service Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for cleaning services provided by Ark Smart Cleaners Ltd. By making a payment or deposit for any service, the client confirms that they have been given the opportunity to read this agreement and automatically agree to the terms stated below.

1. Agreement to Terms

Clients are provided the opportunity to read this Service Agreement prior to making any payment. Once a payment or deposit is made, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

2. Booking & Deposits

To secure a booking, a deposit is required.
• Services costing £100 or more: A 30% deposit is required.
• Services costing under £100: A 50% deposit is required.

Deposits must be paid at least 7 days prior to the scheduled booking date in order to secure the appointment. If the required deposit is not received within this timeframe, Ark Smart Cleaners Ltd cannot guarantee that the selected time slot will remain available. The booking slot may be released and offered to another client.

3. Non-Refundable Deposit

All deposits are strictly non-refundable. Deposits are used to secure the scheduled date and time for your service and cover administrative and booking costs.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Ark Smart Cleaners Ltd operates a strict no refund policy for deposits. If a client cancels a booking for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited and will not be refunded. However, clients may request to reschedule their booking provided that at least 48 hours’ notice is given before the scheduled appointment time.

5. Remaining Balance

The remaining balance must be paid on the day of service or immediately upon completion of the cleaning, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Access to Property

The client must ensure that cleaners have safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed appointment time. If cleaners cannot access the property at the scheduled time, the appointment will be considered a missed appointment, and the deposit will still be retained.

7. Scope of Service

Cleaning services will be carried out based on the agreed service requested at the time of booking. Any additional services requested on the day may result in additional charges.

8. Health & Safety

The client agrees to provide a safe working environment for the cleaning staff. Ark Smart Cleaners Ltd reserves the right to refuse or stop services if conditions are considered unsafe, hazardous, or unsuitable for cleaning.

9. Liability

Ark Smart Cleaners Ltd will take reasonable care while performing services. However, the company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or fragile items that were not disclosed before the service began.

10. Satisfaction Guarantee

If a client is dissatisfied with any part of a standard cleaning service, they must notify Ark Smart Cleaners Ltd within 24 hours of service completion, and the company will make reasonable efforts to address the concern.

11. End of Tenancy Agent / Landlord Re-Clean Policy

For End of Tenancy Cleaning services, Ark Smart Cleaners Ltd offers a re-clean service if issues are raised by a landlord, letting agent, or inventory clerk relating to the cleaning carried out. Any re-clean request must be reported within 7 days of the original service date. The re-clean will only cover areas that were included within the original agreed scope of the End of Tenancy Cleaning service. Ark Smart Cleaners Ltd will make reasonable efforts to arrange one return visit to re-clean the reported areas. If the property condition has changed after the cleaning service, the re-clean guarantee may be void.
